Subject:Suboxone Treatment Saves Lives
Hi. I am proof that Suboxone works. I have been on the program for 5 years after being on Methadone for 12 years.I cannot say enough about it- My problem is that I have had insurance this whole time, and now with the economy like it is, first my insurance at Walmart stopped covering Suboxone, so I left after a number of years to find employment elsewhere, now I am unemployed and job seeking with no funds for my treatment. I am in panic mode!

Subject:Suboxone S.L. versus Buprenex IM %26 Co$ts %26 age %26 outlook.
I've taken Buprenorphine twice before. The 1st time I was on Methadone Maintenance. I had a drug arrest background while my wife worked in banks & financial investment companies. Since I had that record I took the blame for anything because of her job status & our toddler girl.I would come to regret that real soon. My M. In Law found a syringe & my wife begged me to take the blame so her Mom who I really liked at the time would not have her heart broken as much. I made a deal to get off the methadone & go to rehab while my wife & kid went out west to see her dad for a few months. I quickly detoxed down to 40 mg & walked off & into rehab which her insurance covered so all I paid was a reasonable copay. I got an IM shot of Bupe & a librium every 6 hours for about a week & never noticed any discomfort. I got out went back to work talked to my wife & kid every night & she said she would be back in the fall(another 2 months)I kept working & sending her $ to help with raising our child when she asked on my 43rd birthday in January I was served with divorce papers. I had been the stay at home parent so I just started making $ recently & also had been sending a good portion to her so I could not afford to fly out there & pay for a lawyer especially because I knew her stepmom had lots of $ & would way outspend me on a lawyer. She had the nerve to claim that I had abandoned her!! Obviously her step mom who I never liked because she thought her $ entitled her to be treated differently. So I soon was relapsing & went to a Dr that cost me $150 & the Suboxone was even more. Also they worked but nowhere near as good as the IM "Bupe". So my ? is are there any programs that help with the ridiculous cost of suboxone & is the "Bupe IM still made? Part of my probs w/Suboxone might have been because unlike with the Bupe I thought I was going right back to my family now I'm 48 & broke & I'll always be broke unless I get on a clinic & work F.T. I just don't see how I can come back this time sober & broke & start again I just feel too old to start at the bottom sober with practicaly no money & now because of probs getting my damn cert. B.C. I can't get U.E. benefits,Fd stamps med coverage Rxs or even a job w/out ID but they won't give it to me w/out the cert b.c. IT's the worst catch 22. I've been waitg 2 months even though I paid for UPS air ship. I had an illegal behind me with ID that looked like an old 1940s Topps baseball card from Mexico. They immeadiately gave him food stamp med coverage paid for Rxs & TanF $ & even rent subsidy in new apartment just built. They send all $ to Mexico & don't pay taxes here. I pay taxes & get treated like I 'm in Al-Qaida. This country doesn't make sense anymore. Anyway alot of pharm companies offer discounts if you can prove financial distress & believe me I can. Do you know of any or at least Dr's who don't charge so much? Thank you & Kids even if you don't OD mine is still a cautionary tale. I could have done anything with my IQ but I had untreated ADD & got arrested for possesion & GOD may forgive but our computerized society never does Unless you can afford to seal records or can hack in & change them or just get a fake name. This is how they get people to work crap jobs for no pay. Because you get arrested even with no violence & no one hurt but yourself by your alleged crime & that's it game over grab a broom & sweep we don't care if you went to college or could easily earn a doctorate. We need someone to serve Vente Dolce Lattes for minimum wage for the rest of tyheir lives & damnit be grateful too. Sorry for sarcasm but it's the truth that's what the war on drugs really is. Thank you in advance especially if you can answer my ?s.

Subject:My hope
I'm seeking maintenance Suboxone treatment with counseling,I have been addicted to opiates since I was 12 and I am now 26,if I go for long periods without opiates the psychological craving is intense and causes episodes of unstable mood and severe depression that makes it difficult for me to function normally,I'm frightened by this addiction because no other treatment has been effective and I almost died once from a heroin o.d. and was saved by paramedics,I feel great hope that Suboxone maintenance with counseling may be the answer to my disease,I actually view it as a disease at this point because of my lacking ability to cope with it,I just want to feel normal again and I think Suboxone may work for me!!,please help!!,I have medical insurance if a local physician could be referred,I have money as well,if you can help me I would be very grateful, thanks

Subject:Suboxone Assisted Treatment Program ...
I want my life back! Suboxone is actually helping me to get back on track! April 16th my boyfriend, Stephen, and I went to Resolutions Medical Services, Inc. Before they actually started us on Suboxone, Dr.Loucas (W.P.B.,FL) started us with a Fentanyl Patch due to our Methadone use in addition to Roxis, OxyContin, and Dilaudid. We wore that for 3 days, removed the patch, waited an hour, and started the Suboxone. For some reason, he actually prescribed me the Suboxone and Stevie the Subutex. It's been 8 days on the Suboxone, and I am feeling pretty good ... tired, but pretty much getting out of the "Physically & Emotionally Drained" mode. My biggest fear is now affording the Suboxone ... I am so hoping to receive this assistance, and quick! Any suggestions, please e-mail me. Thank you! I wish you all the very best! God. grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference!

Subject:My Doctor is "stepping me down" in dosage.
I actually have a question and would like to hear what others have to say. I am currently being stepped down on my Suboxone and I am feeling a lot of withdraw symptoms. I have been on the program for 6 months. Before I started the program I was taking between 180-240 mg of Oxycontin daily. My Doctor put me on 24 mg of Suboxone per day. Now he is giving me 16 mg per day. I have taken this for 2 weeks and feeling like I am going to relapse. This is my 1st step down and I already am having a lot of issues with withdraw symptoms. Is this normal? Should I speak with him about putting me back on 24 mg? I don't want to relapse. My doctor was saying that the DEA enforces that he drop me down. I am not comfortable with the way I have been feeling for the past 2 weeks since my step down. Any advice would be great. Thanks
