Subject:suboxone and pain
I had back surgery in June 2009. My surgeon says I will still need to be on some sort of low dose of opiates. I'm not having any luck weening myself down off the Opana that I am still taking. How can I tell how much is real pain or how much is pain from withdrawals. How do I incorporate a small amount of opiates after I am off the Opana? I need to do something soon, my pain doctor is being pressured from his co-workers to get me off the Opana. .?

Suboxone saved my life. But I have to worry every two weeks, can I afford my medication. It's hard for someone who has finally gotten on her feet...finally! But I guess in the end, how much is my life worth, right??? Nice graphic below...perfect for a bunch of addicts, thanks web designer.

Thank you for the opportunity to realize that I am not alone in so much of what I am feeling and thinking. But, most importantly that I am not alone in this fight.

My name is Nancy Morgan. I have been taking Suboxone for appx. 6 years. I am now unemployed due to a lay off and without any insurance. I would like to find out about any financial assistance programs referencing Suboxone. Suboxone has saved me from a life time of opiate and alcohol abuse. Thank you.

Subject:lortab (past) suboxone (present)
After more than 15yrs on a variety of narcotic pain killers, I stumbled across a book written by Joshua Lyon called Pillhead. In this book he talked about a drug used to help addicts reform. The drug Suboxone. I contacted a local clinic and they arranged for me to meet the Doctor on 9/17 this is day 6 and I'm good. I've logged many hours reading everything I come across about this medicine. I'm still not sure if I'm taking this med. correctly I think I'm swallowing when I'm not supposed to. Had to cancel appt. I had today and hope I can go tomorrow. Need to address proper dose under tongue...swallow or not to swallow. Tastes awful. HELP!!

Subject:suboxone support
I am in my third week on suboxone and feel fairly good. I am back to work and life. As part of the protocol I need to talk to someone and am trying to figure out the best way to go. My problem was prescription pain killers, fentynel and hydocodone which were my prescriptions due to spinal problems, but the medicine started taking over my life. Any suggestions as to who I should talk to?
